The Dutch and German have set ambitious targets for Offshore Wind. Hereby, Offshore wind will be the cornerstone of the European energy transition. TenneT is responsible for connecting Offshore wind to the Onshore Grid and is developing state of the art Offshore Grid Connection Systems (2GW HVDC GCS, Offshore Hubs) and (Onshore) DC Interconnectors to transmit the power further inland. These are all innovative, multi-disciplinary, mega-projects (>1 billion) which drive the Energy Transition. We are looking for a Asset Specialist for HVA/C who will contribute to this.
Your Tasks
As Asset Specialist for HVA/C you are responsible for the asset management of all HVA/C (Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning) systems in TenneT’s Offshore Grid Connection Systems and HVDC Interconnectors. You developing and maintaining the asset strategies, technical specifications and designs and optimize Cost-Performance Risk. Your contribution to TenneT
- Asset Specialist for HVA/C (Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning) systems on TenneT’s offshore grid connection systems (HVAC & HVDC). Developing and maintaining asset strategies, technical specifications and design covering the life cycle of the relevant components and systems, while continuously assessing cost-risk-performance. In addition you are part of the platform asset management team and will contribute to other mechanical systems.
- Lead and support technical developments for TenneT's 2GW Standard with respect to HVA/C
- Providing specific technical support during project development, project execution and operation and maintenance
- Technical supplier management (pre-qualification, tenders, framework contracts, supplier selection, audits)
- Technical tendering and negotiations process for all HVDC grid connection systems
- Technical quality assurance during project realisation through Pre-Qualification Tests, Type Tests, FAT and Commissioning Tests
- Benchmarking of assets and system performance, related activities along the Asset Life Cycle Core Process
Your profile and background
- A bachelor or master degree in an engineering discipline,
- Preferably experience in Asset Management and familiar with (feasibility) studies, technical-financial optimization and project development.
- At least 5 year work experience in a relevant field.
- Experience in Offshore Wind, Offshore Grid Connections, HVDC Technology and/or Interconnectors is a plus.
- Experience with project management and are able to coordinate/manage work with multiple colleagues/stakeholders.
- You are a self-starter, accountable, persuasive, sensitive, capable of sensible judgment and are decisive.
- You have excellent communication skills (English) and can clearly formulate on paper.You are willing to travel

- A undetemined contract or year contract with the possibility of extension based on 40 hours per week
- A salary in scale 9: € 4675 to € 9196 per month with 8% holiday allowance and 6% year-end bonus.
- A solid pension via ABP: we pay 70% of your premium.
