How do you keep the Netherlands powered? As a Process Specialist – Handover, you are responsible for ensuring a smooth, coordinated, and controlled handover of project data and documentation to our Asset Management and Operations & Maintenance departments. This enables the long-term operation and maintenance of our offshore assets.

You will be responsible for:

  • Establishing a robust and clear process for the handover of relevant project data and documents, in collaboration with the Project Management Office.
  • Maintaining and adapting handover processes together with counterparts from Asset Management and Operations & Maintenance.
  • Defining a practical implementation of the handover process with internal stakeholders.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for the project team regarding documentation and data for Asset Management and Operations & Maintenance.
  • Coordinating project reporting and internal governance processes (e.g., “Terra”).
  • Coordinating training activities organized by the contractor, acting as the counterpart to the contractor’s training coordinator.
You will work within the Large Project Offshore, Cluster Maasvlakte Stations team, consisting of approximately 9 direct colleagues and part of a broader portfolio and cluster of around 80 people. Together, you prepare all project-related information—documents, models, drawings, and software—for a seamless transition to the operational organization. The team fosters a collaborative and innovative work atmosphere.

  • Stakeholder Coordination: You are capable of coordinating technical matters between internal stakeholders such as Asset Management, Operations & Maintenance, and System Operations.
  • Communication: You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Additionally, you have:
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience in a similar role, ideally within large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of and experience with document control, document management, and information management systems.
  • A valid driver’s license to travel to various project locations.
  • Willingness to work 2–3 days per week at our Rijnpoort location in Arnhem.

The Unit is responsible for the current and future development of the offshore grid as a whole and subsequently for the development and realization of the DC interconnectors and the Offshore Wind Farm grid connections in both the German and Dutch sectors of the North Sea.

  • Salary in scale 7: €4.088 to €7.230 per month.
